Tammy B. Scelfo is a partner in the Lafayette office of Allen & Gooch. Her primary areas of practice are commercial real estate, title insurance, secured and unsecured lending transactions, mergers and acquisitions, corporate formation and advice, as well as general business matters. As part of her practice, Tammy represents borrowers as well as lenders in matters involving financing projects including real estate construction, vessel construction and equipment and inventory and accounts receivable-based lending and borrowing.
In addition, Tammy represents real estate developers in a wide array of projects, including residential subdivisions, traditional neighborhood developments, office buildings and shopping centers. She also handles the negotiation and documentation of real estate transactions, including sales and leasing, as well as the issuance of title insurance.
Her practice also includes representation of business owners in the formation and restructuring of business entities, counseling clients in relation to general business matters, negotiating and drafting complex commercial contracts, as well as representation of both purchasers and sellers in merger and acquisition transactions.
