Corey Meaux is an attorney in the Lafayette office of Allen & Gooch. He devotes the majority of his practice to workers’ compensation defense and handles matters for his clients throughout the entire state of Louisiana. Corey is a member of many professional legal organizations including the Louisiana State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the Lafayette Bar Association. Furthermore, he is associated with the Workers’ Compensation Research Institute in order to remain up-to-date on developing areas of workers’ compensation.
Corey prides himself as a meticulous writer and researcher, and considers these to be his best attributes as an attorney. He continuously advocates for his clients in an efficient yet tenacious manner in order to obtain the best results possible. His positive attitude enables him to routinely work easily with plaintiff attorneys in an effort to quickly resolve cases.
Corey obtained his law degree from Southern University Law Center, cum laude, in 2015 where he served as both Junior and Senior Editor of Law Review, Vice-President of the Federalist Society for Law and Public Policy Studies, and Justice of the Tureaud Chapter of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, International.
When he is not serving his clients, Corey enjoys supporting the UL Ragin’ Cajuns, LSU Tigers and New Orleans Saints, hunting, and playing golf.
