Billy Parker is Of Counsel in the firm’s Lafayette office, bringing extensive experience to the firm’s Litigation Practice Group.. Billy has had an active litigation and trial practice, representing clients in general and auto casualty cases, as well as medical malpractice, legal malpractice, and insurance agent errors and omissions conflicts.
For over 40 years, Billy was involved in disputes involving insurance companies and private corporations dealing with myriad personal injury and property damage claims.
Billy frequently spoke at firm-sponsored, as well as Bar Association, seminars. He was a member of the Louisiana Law Review from 1979 to 1981, and authored “The Demise of Latent Brake Defect Doctrine in Louisiana” and “Another Look at Louisiana Succession Law: The Ramifications of Succession of Brown.” Mr. Parker maintained an “AV” rating by Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating offered by that service.
