At a ceremony held in July, attorney Mark Verret was named 2024 St. Tammany Parish Legislator of the Year by the Alliance for Good Government. Mark is a partner in our Covington Louisiana office and currently represents the Councilman at Large seat on the Covington City Council, where he also serves as its President.

Mark has been practicing law for over 20 years and has successfully defended claims of governmental agencies and political subdivisions. He’s represented hospitals, physicians, nursing homes and numerous other health care providers. He is a dedicated public servant and a steadfast advocate for his community and the clients he represents.
